Abstract

To get a better understanding of the dynamic nature of MRSA epidemiology, more
knowledge on the factors contributing to MRSA transmission success is needed.
This thesis focuses on the factors that are associated with the successful dissemination
of epidemic MRSA clones compared to the limited dissemination of their
sporadic counterparts.
