Abstract
With their book, Srđan Sremac and R. Ruard Ganzevoort make a significant contribution to the understanding of the relationship between trauma and religion, moving and entering into a dialogue with numerous other authors within their common research field, and enriching the theological discourse with the achievements of sciences such as psychology, narratology, anthropology, philosophy , cultural studies. The book Trauma and Religion provides us with theoretical elaboration and guidelines for further research - not only about the possible benefits of faith for the individual and society, but also about the traumas produced by ideologized and politicized faith.
