Abstract

Acute localized exanthematous pustulosis (ALEP) is an uncommon cutaneous eruption that usually occurs in response to drug therapy. We describe two patients with ALEP that presented with numerous pinhead-sized pustules on the skin of the face and neck. The first patient developed an ALEP after influenza vaccination. This is the first report of an ALEP after influenza vaccination. The second patient presented with amoxicillin induced ALEP. So far only 10 cases of ALEP have been reported.
